GENERAL SYNOPSIS
High ridge 1055-1040 hpa, Northwestern Siberia to England, weakening from the northwest over France. Low 1003 hpa, Southern Tyrrhenian Sea, drifting slowly northeast while filling. Strong northeasterly stream north of the Alps, less over the massifs, linked to a very cold polar air mass moving southwards and expected to reaching the Western Mediterranean by Sunday. Getting temporarily milder by Monday, then again somewhat colder on Tuesday and Wednesday. Slowly and gradually back to seasonal average thereafter.
