An axe strikes
The winter forest—
It smells to me
Low 975 hpa, Baltic Lands, moving east. It is extending a frontal trough reaching Spain where a minimum is isolating and then expected to moving slowly towards the Genoa Gulf. Linked disturbance mainly driving cloud over the area in a still fairly strong southwesterly stream, slightly milder than seasonal average, while a light fœhn effect is affecting the northern slopes. Cloud patches should continue to crossing over until Tuesday, possibly triggering light scattered showers each night. The Alps will then edge south of the very unsettled westerlies streaming over Northern Europe. There is a possibility of a disturbance extending more south and therefore carrying moderate precipitation between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday afternoon. To be confirmed.
