GENERAL SYNOPSIS
High 1037 hpa northeast of Azores, drifting slowly towards the Biscaye Bay. Low trough 985-1005 hpa, south of Spitsbergen to Northern Aegean. Unsettled maritime polar air streaming from the northwest between these two areas will continue to triggering some snow showers overnight due to a barrier effect against the northern slopes of the High Massifs, before veering north. • Uncertain Sunday, sunny outbreaks tearing thick cloud with an increasing bise wind high up in the mean time. • Monday will be a transition phase towards a sunny high pressure spell which should begin on Tuesday along the western border of a very cold polar air inflow towards the Eastern and Central Alpine Range.
