The maritime polar air tail which rushed after last night's disturbance will get almost inactive tonight. Loosening pressure gradient from the south will allow for the snow shower to end towards the latter part of the night, while the wind will be decreasing slightly by Thursday noon. This cold lull will persist until Thursday evening ahead of a slightly milder and somewhat unsettled spell. • Noria of lows is expected to resuming with a 980 hpa coming in over Ireland by Friday evening. The bad weather which is expected to resuming on Friday will probably be affecting the Alps until Monday.
