GENERAL SYNOPSIS
Low pressure whirl over France and the Western Mediterranean, fed by extended maritime polar air thalweg, Iceland to Tunisia. In the vicinity of its southern tip, precisely Northern Tyrrhenian Sea, deepened a small low system which moves towards the Alps embedded in a southerly flow, loaded with Mediterranean humidity. As a result for this Sunday : easterly back‑stream with light snow north of the Alpine Barrier. • Then, slight fœhn trend will probably resume on Monday, making that flow drier over our Region, while cold air still there will begin to withdraw north.
