The sound of water
Very deep, extended and complex low system whirling over the North Sea with a minimum 967 hpa northwest close to Denmark. • The first cold front linked to that low system is currently crossing over the area, triggering locally fairly heavy precipitation and going along with a westerly gale high up; after a relative lull in the morning, a second cold front will trigger more precipitation which will get fairly heavy during the afternoon with the rain‑snow limit dropping down in the valley. • Further outlook, still uncertain in detail, shows a series of westerly disturbances following each other at least until Sunday.
