And remains silent
ISSUED AT 10:15 MONDAY JANUARY 30 2023
VALID : MONDAY JANUARY 30 -- SATURDAY FEBRUARY 04 2023
GENERAL SYNOPSIS
High 1033 hpa halfway between Azores and Ireland, extended by some 1020 ridge more or less up to Austrian Alps. • Mediterranean low was recently completely filling, but a Bise gradient persists between Savoy and Piedmont, which might get occasionally tighter in the afternoon. • Further outlook, i.e. weather turn into NW pattern, barely milder atmosphere and cloudy at times, until disturbance crossing expected on Thursday, seems less and less relevant. Azores high seems now likely to refocusing towards 1040 hpa S close to Brittany by Friday : first 10-day of February might therefore remain dry (and cold) instead.
Moderate avalanche risk [2/5] (Mon. 16:00)
