ISSUED AT 08:15 MONDAY JUNE 14
VALID FROM : MONDAY JUNE 14 -- UNTIL : SATURDAY JUNE 19 2021

GENERAL SYNOPSIS
Azores High is currently withdrawing over the Atlantic, though a fairly extended cell persists over Germany, toping 1025 towards Northeast Bavaria and still keeping figures around 1020 in the northwest fringes of the Alpine Range. This high pressure field is going together with an African originated altitude anticyclonic spur reaching the Southern Baltics, thus shaping a dome of hot, dry and stable air over our Region until Tuesday. Temperature highs will be closing to 30°C, and the iso 0°C will drop slowly towards 4400 m. • Then a thalweg linked to a fairly deep Atlantic low, which is expected to crossing over between Iceland and Faroes, will make the air mass somewhat unstable in our Region by Wednesday and Friday. For now, resulting thundery shower risk seems however likely to remaining fairly low.
